Jonny Evans is still two weeks away from returning to first team action, while Robin van Persie continues his stint at the side-lines. Evans has missed the trip along with Rafael, who is also struggling with his fitness.
Marouane Fellaini has also missed the trip to Munich and he could prove to be a big miss in this game. But Ryan Giggs, who was initially doubtful for this game, has seemed to regain match fitness and has travelled with the squad.
Having conceded an away goal at Old Trafford, Manchester United will have to be more adventurous in this game. They will look to keep it tight in the first half of the game and then sneak in a goal in the second half.
