Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has praised Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for the work he has done at the club and said that the club should have named their new stadium after him.

This vote of support from the Newcastle manager comes after Arsene Wenger got booed at the subway station the Arsenal team were taking after the defeat against Stoke City. Arsenal had won the 3 games prior to that and seemed to have banished their seemingly defensive nightmares, but they all came to the fore in the first 45 minutes at the Britannia Stadium, which saw them concede 3 goals.
It was tough to recover from that, and though they did manage to pull 2 goals back, the red card for Calum Chambers meant that the 3rd goal wasnai??i??t coming, and Arsenal were once again consigned to a defeat to Stoke.
However, if Newcastle United and Alan Pardew fancy that it will be a much easier Arsenal that they would face than the traditionally stronger opponents, it could well blow up in their face as Arsenal came back with a strong reply against Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Granted, it was an inconsequential game in the grand scheme of things and that playing without pressure can be a lot easier, Newcastle should keep in mind that it would not be a despondent Arsenal team that will be facing them. A sufficiently rested Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck can still wreak havoc, and Lukas Podolski showed what he can do if he was allowed to start games and not just play in the last 10 minutes. With Aaron Ramsey also back in form, with a scorcher of a goal in the midweek game, Arsenal are primed to put a dent on the 5 game win streak that Pardew has guided Newcastle through, after a horrendous start to the season.
