The 21 year old German has enjoyed a fantastic start to the season netting 8 goals and bagging 4 assists for the club in all competitions this season. His estimated value is somewhere around 12 million pounds.
An astute, strong and versatile forward, Volland can play out on the wings or in the middle. He can drop deep in the No.10 role if required to play behind another striker. His playing position and style could be likened to Arsenal’s Theo Walcott, only he is deemed better and more gifted.
Hoffenheim has clearly struggled in recent years, barely able to stay afloat in the top flight last year, and Volland was instrumental in that, scoring six goals, a tally which was only bettered by seven goal scorer Sehad Salihovicai??i??s.
