Liverpool FC defender Daniel Agger could leave the club in search of regular first team action, while Fabio Borini wants Liverpool return after his derby heroics.
Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has suggested that he could look for a move away from Anfield due to lack of first team action.
The Liverpool vice-captain, who joined the club back in 2006, has already made over 200 appearances for the club. Agger has been one of the most consistent performer for the Merseyside club over the past few seasons and widely considered to be one of the best center-backs in the league. But this season the Danish international has only made four starts in the league so far.
Brendan Rodgers has changed his system at the club and is currently using a 3-4-1-2 formation in order to get the best out of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez. However it seems as if Kolo Toure, Martin Skrtel and Mamadou Sakho are the first choice back three for the former Swansea manager at the moment. Aggerai??i??s last start in a league game came in the 0-1 defeat at home against Southampton and he was once again an unused substitute in Liverpoolai??i??s last game against West Bromwich Albion.
Daniel Agger has now stated in an interview that he would consider leaving the club if he doesn’t get enough playing time. The defender has insisted that his priority remains regular first team football.

Daniel Agger was linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer and reports suggested that Liverpool have already turned down a bid from the Spanish club. Brendan Rodgers has stated that Agger has assured him that he will stay at the club as long he is wanted over here. But if Rodgers continues to prefer other defenders over him, his future will come under speculations once again and Barcelona along with other interested clubs will be closely monitoring this situation.
Derby Hero Fabio Borini wants Liverpool return
The 22-year-old recently grabbed all the headlines with a wonder strike in the Tyne-Wear Ai??derby which turned out to be a memorable winner for Sunderland. It was an emotional moment for the Italian, who finally showed what he is capable of after returning from a long injury layout. Borini suffered from a dislocated shoulder last season in February and was loaned out to Sunderland after a host of new arrivals at the Merseyside club. Borini required regular first team action to return to full fitness and he was unlikely to get that at Liverpool, so this move made sense for both the parties involved.
But despite this success at Sunderland, Boriniai??i??s dream remains to return to Liverpool and establish himself in the side.
