Sources among the popular media in England understand that Italian giants FC Internazionale are considering waiving off the outstanding amount of A?5M that Manchester City owe them from the transfer of Mario Balotelli that took place at the beginning of the 2010-11 season. Balotelli was signed from the then Italian and European champions by the Manchester based Nouveau Riche for a hefty sum of A?26M and, according to sources, Inter are considering to let go off the remaining amount after City reportedly rejected the Italiansai??i?? bid to sign the unsettled Argentine forward Carlos Tevez.

THT Verdict: More than possible. Having lost Etoai??i??o during the summer, Inter are yet to invest the money smartly and the strikers they bought at the beginning of the season have failed to create any impact whatsoever. Now that the team finally appears to be back on track, it seems only logical that Moratti will go to any extent to find that one last missing piece to complete the jigsaw. A signing of this measure may well see Inter clawing their way back as the title contenders in Serie A and, more importantly, it will hurt and leave their city rivals AC Milan in complete despair after their failed attempts to land the beleaguered star from Manchester.
Taye Taiwo On The Verge Of Becoming A QPR Player
Reports are doing rounds in the British media that AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo will complete the medical and the rest of the formalities in a matter of next few hours to become the latest signing at Queens Park Rangers under the newly appointed manager Mark Hughes. QPR and Milan have reached a deal and, following the agreement over personal terms, the player will undergo a medical.

THT Verdict: The signing of Mesbah from Lecce pretty much signaled the end of Taiwo at Milan. Though it is unfair to rate him considering the lack of opportunities presented his way, one must say he failed to live to the promise he was brought in with. However, the move might backfire since now Milan remain with all the makeshift players to play in the left back roles who are naturally left wingers or traditional box-to-box centre midfielders, accustomed to operate from the left.
Catania Set Their Demand For Lopez, Will Fulham Go For It?
Sicilian outfit Catania have set the buyout price for the Argentine striker Maxi Lopez, who is likely to be leaving the club during the winter. A fee of A?6.5M has been asked to be met by the buyers for the player, who is also believed to be on the target list of AC Milan and Fiorentina.

Though not in the best of shape, form and fitness, Lopez can well adapt to the English game with his stronger physical presence and the money spent over him shall definitely not backfire. THT Verdict: Guarinai??i??s exit from Porto seems pretty imminent since the side is reduced to being only a shadow of the all-conquering unit of the last season after the loss of protagonist Andre Villas-Boas and one of the cult figures of the season Falcao. The departure of Hulk too seems to be not delayed by much and it only looks logical for the Colombian midfielder to seek a move to a bigger club at this stage.
