THT Verdict: Likely. The forward has dismissed the interest shown by Queens Park Rangers in order to return to Cardiff City. Bellamy was one of the shining figures at Liverpool last season and scored some crucial goals for the Reds who were struggling in the League throughout.
Bellamy has determination but the pace and tenacity required to thrive in the Premier League deprives him of first team opportunities. At 33 years of age, it only makes sense for the Welshman to move to the Championship where he will be more of a pivotal player for Cardiff City.
Real Madrid Close-In Witsel
After being rebuffed in their attempts to land Tottenhamai??i??s Luka Modric, Real Madrid have now reportedly turned their attention towards Benficaai??i??s Axel Witsel and are close to completing a A?34M deal for the Belgian midfielder.
THT Verdict: Likely. A good option at the end of the day for Real Madrid who have found it hard to land Luka Modric. Witsel was instrumental in Benficaai??i??s domestic and European campaigns last season and adds quality to a squad that could see Kaka move out this summer.
Although some reports suggest that Fabio Coentrao could move the other way on loan as part of the deal, Mourinho would prefer keeping the Portuguese left-back for next season in order to maintain squad depth.

THT Verdict: Likely. Nigel de Jong made just 11 Premier League starts last season and clearly doesnai??i??t stand up to the competition of Barry and Toure. Selling him seems to be a sensible option, if Manchester City and Mancini are thinking so.
The only glitch in this deal could be the playerai??i??s wages. De Jong earns around A?2.4M per season which presents itself as a very steep price for Inter Milan but if his agent can work things out with the Serie A side, de Jong could be an Inter Milan player before the start of next season.
