The Hillsborough Independent Panel has collated documented information from over 80 organizations who had a role to play on the day of the Hillsborough disaster. The families of the 96 fans have been waiting over two decades to learn how the entire collapse played-out from beginning to end.
Although an initial report by Lord Justice Taylor, published in 1990 stated the failure of ai???police controlai??? as the main cause of the Leppings Lane section of the stadium collapse, the Crown Prosecution Service didnai??i??t accept as evidence strong enough to bring a prosecution. But all of this has changed as the dossiers related to this incident are now released, allowing the families and the government to take a closer look and understand the main cause behind this incident. The released papers indicate that the Hillsborough disaster was ‘failure in police control’ and exposes the vulnerability of the victims, families and survivors.

Chelsea Win European Award

Lloris Must ai???Fightai???, Says Assou-Ekotto
There were already rumours about Hugo Lloris being unhappy at his new club, having been kept on the bench ahead of veteran keeper Brad Friedel. And now, Cameroon international Benoit Assou-Ekotto has come out in the open and stated that competition within the team is a given and that Lloris must fight just like everyone else for his spot.
“It won’t be easy for him because there is competition. Number one keeper in the French team or not, he will have to fight to get the position in the team. We currently have a keeper that doesn’t make any mistakes, who is very well-known in Great Britain. To start I believe Lloris will be No.2. Fulham Sign Karagounis
Fulham have completed the signing of 35 year-old Greece midfielder Giorgos Karagounis from Panathinaikos for the duration of the season. Karagounis has amassed a lot of experience having previously played in the Serie A with Inter Milan and in Portugal with Benfica and will surely add that extra bit of quality to the Fulham midfield.
