Bournemouth may entertain bids for 19-year-old French striker Eli Junior Kroupi this summer amid his links with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
A report by Football Insider has brought good news for Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United. The four Premier League giants are keen on signing the Bournemouth striker, and the Cherries are open to cashing in on the 19-year-old if they receive bids worth around £50-60 million in the upcoming transfer window.
Eli Junior Kroupi and his Bournemouth break
Eli Junior Kroupi has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Premier League since joining Bournemouth from FC Lorient. The Premier League club initially signed the Frenchman on loan in February 2025 before completing a permanent move in the subsequent summer transfer window.
While the 19-year-old has not been an undisputed first-choice starter for Bournemouth this season, he has produced impressive numbers. Kroupi has scored ten goals in only 1,312 minutes of game time in 28 Premier League outings this term. The French striker’s exploits have invariably stimulated the interest of high-profile clubs, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
A man in demand
Arsenal may dip into the market for a striker in the coming months, as Gabriel Jesus faces an uncertain future at the Emirates. Additionally, Viktor Gyokeres has not been convincing enough to become the North London club’s undisputed first-choice striker, having started the crucial Premier League clash with Manchester City on the bench. So, Kroupi is a viable target for Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s interest in Eli Junior Kroupi is somewhat surprising. While Liam Delap has struggled this season (only one Premier League goal scored thus far), the Blues are set to welcome Emmanuel Emegha ahead of the 2026/27 season. So, it is unclear how Kroupi will fit into the scheme of things at Chelsea.
As for Liverpool, the Reds are scouring the market for a versatile attacker after losing Hugo Ekitike to a long-term injury. With Alexander Isak being the only other striker in Jurgen Klopp’s squad, Liverpool can do with a new striker. Meanwhile, Manchester United may pursue a striker this summer amid uncertainties surrounding Joshua Zirkzee’s long-term future.
Kroupi’s versatility makes him an appealing target for Manchester United, as he can be a like-for-like replacement for Zirkzee. While Bournemouth’s asking price of £50-60 million seems excessive, the 19-year-old Frenchman has shown the potential to live up to the billing in the coming years. So, it will not be surprising to see Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United launch a bid for Kroupi amid Bournemouth’s openness to a sale.
