The Premier League champions are combing the market for a goalkeeper heading into the summer transfer window amid uncertainties surrounding Ederson Moraes’s long-term future. So, the Real Madrid stopper has emerged as a target, with City contacting his entourage.

Andriy Lunin has been a dependable performer since joining Real Madrid from Zorya Luhansk in July 2018. The shot-stopper has come leaps and bounds in the last seven years but has never been the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper for Real Madrid apart from a major portion of the 2023/24 season when Thibaut Courtois was on the sidelines with a long-term injury.
