Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus.
According to Africa Foot, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, and Tottenham Hotspur want to sign 24-year-old Ghana international Mohammed Kudus. West Ham United will demand a fee of around €85 million to part ways with him.
The former Ajax attacker has attracted interest from Saudi Arabia as well, and Al-Nassr have already submitted an offer of around €100 million for him. It will be interesting to see if the English clubs can step up their efforts and get the deal done.
Chelsea need more depth in the attacking unit, and Kudus would be a major upgrade on Mykhailo Mudryk, who has been quite underwhelming since the big-money move from Shakhtar Donetsk. In addition, the Ukrainian international is indefinitely unavailable due to his doping ban.
As for Arsenal, he will add some much-needed depth in the wide areas. Arsenal have not been able to rotate players like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. The arrival of the West Ham attacker could solve their attacking problems.
The Ghanaian international is capable of operating anywhere across the front three, and he will add goals and creativity to the side. Meanwhile, Manchester City could use more attacking depth as well, and it remains to be seen whether the Premier League champions can get a deal done.
Finally, Tottenham are likely to lose Timo Werner and Richarlison at the end of the season. Mathys Tel could return to his parent club as well. They need more depth in the attacking unit, and a dynamic attacker like Kudus could be the ideal acquisition for them.
Kudus could improve all four clubs
There is no doubt that the former Ajax star would improve all four English clubs, and it remains to be seen whether they are ready to pay €85 million for him. The asking price is quite steep for the player, but he has proven himself in the Premier League over the years, and he could make an instant impact.
The Ghana international has shown his quality with West Ham, and he will want to compete at a higher level now. He might want to join a club where he will be able to fight for trophies regularly. Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City could be attractive destinations for the player.
The 24-year-old is yet to enter the peak years of his career, and he could improve further with coaching and experience. Playing in a bigger club alongside better players could help him improve further. He could justify the €85 million asking price in the near future.
