Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing 22-year-old 2024 Olympics 2024 silver medalist Enzo Millot from VfB Stuttgart.
According to a report by Caught Offside, Enzo Millot has piqued the attention of several high-profile Premier League clubs with his exploits for VfB Stuttgart. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the 22-year-old 2024 Olympics silver medalist from the Bundesliga club.
Who is Enzo Millot?
Enzo Millot has established himself as one of the best young prospects in the Bundesliga since joining VfB Stuttgart from AS Monaco in August 2021. A native of Luce, the Frenchman spent his formative years in his homeland and graduated from the youth division at AS Monaco.
The 22-year-old was recently a part of France’s silver medal-winning squad and has been superb thus far this season. Millot has contributed to 13 goals in 24 appearances across all competitions by finding the back of the net eight times and providing five assists. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several high-profile Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur.
Premier League move on the horizon?
While Millot is primarily an attacking midfielder, he can also reprise the no. 8 role and play on the right flank. So, the French attacker is a viable target for Arsenal, considering he can be an asset in the midfield and offensive units. As for Chelsea, the Olympics 2024 silver medalist can be the long-term replacement for Mykhailo Mudryk if his situation does not improve.
In addition, Christopher Nkunku faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge amid his struggles for regular starts at Chelsea. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s interest in Enzo Millot is understandable. While Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones have been impressive, Liverpool can do with another versatile attacking midfielder.
As for Tottenham Hotspur, Millot can be the long-term replacement for the exit-linked Richarlison, although he is not a like-for-like alternative. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old Frenchman is also a target for Manchester City, with the Premier League champions keen on signing the 2024 Olympics silver medalist.
With several Premier League bigwigs vying for his signature, an adventure in the English top flight might be on the cards for Millot. It will be interesting to see if Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, or Tottenham will land the 22-year-old French attacking midfielder.
