The 25-year-old is a target for Chelsea heading into the summer transfer window. However, Barcelona would prefer to sell Frenkie de Jong and Ferran Torres before they consider offloading Araujo.
Ronald Araujo has seen his stock skyrocket in the last few years. A mainstay at the back for his club and country, the Uruguayan international has turned out 150 times thus far for Barcelona, chipping in with eight goals and five assists.
Meanwhile, Frenkie de Jong has been a pivotal figure for Barcelona since arriving from Ajax in July 2019.
