Crystal Palace will reportedly look to sign 27-year-old Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada from Serie A club Lazio in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Il Messaggero, as relayed by La Lazio Siamo Noi, Daichi Kamada is the subject of interest from Crystal Palace. The Eagles are scouring the market for an attacking midfielder heading into the summer transfer window. And they have contacted the 27-year-old Lazio midfielder, who has been stalling on signing a new contract with the Serie A club.

Daichi Kamada has seen his progress stutter since joining Lazio from Eintracht Frankfurt in a Bosman move last summer. During his four-year stint with the German outfit, the Japanese international was one of the best midfielders in the Bundesliga. However, he has not been a happy camper at the Serie A club.
The 27-year-old started only 20 games across all competitions in his debut season with Lazio, managing less than 2,000 minutes of game time across 37 appearances. So, it is hardly surprising that Kamada is considering embarking on a new adventure after failing to establish a foothold in the first-team squad at the Serie A club.
A move to the Premier League might be on the cards, with several English outfits showing interest in the versatile Asian midfielder before he joined Lazio. Crystal Palace will be among Kamada’s prospective suitors in the summer transfer window, with Oliver Glasner keen on a reunion.
