Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Tottenham run rule over Bradley Locko

Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur are all interested in the services of Stade Brestois full-back Bradley Locko.

According to a report from Football Insider, Bradley Locko has attracted a lot of interest from across Europe on the back of his impressive performances for Stade Brestois. Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on his signature and have scouted him ahead of a potential move in the summer.

Locko joined Brestois on a short loan from Reims at the start of 2023. On the back of his impressive loan spell, the Ligue 1 outfit decided to sign him permanently ahead of the start of the ongoing season. It has turned out to be an exceptional move for both parties as the full-back has been a standout performer for the club.

He has featured in each of their 33 league games and has also contributed towards three goals. The left-back has played a big part in their impressive run, which could see them compete in the Champions League next season.

Locko’s performances have resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe. Brest are aware of the growing interest and have asked FIFA agent Willie McKay to speak to clubs who are interested in their stars. While the 22-year-old’s contract with the Ligue 1 club runs until the summer of 2027, they won’t stand in his way if they receive a sizeable offer for his services.

English giants are keen on Locko

Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen on having him in their squad, and they can knock on the French club’s door for his signature. Scouts from all four English outfits travelled to watch the young left-back in action on Friday.

They were present in the stands to watch Brest square up against Locko’s former club Reims. The English clubs are serious about their pursuit and with them scouting him, there is a real possibility of things happening when the window reopens.

Andrew Roberston has struggled with injuries, and he is already 30. As a result, Liverpool are looking at Locko as someone who can add depth and eventually take over from the Scottish international.

Unai Emery wants a more attacking left-back in his squad, and people at Aston Villa feel the French full-back could be an ideal fit. Meanwhile, Chelsea are always on the lookout for young players with huge potential, and Bradley Locko seems to be a perfect fit for them.

Spurs are looking to add depth to their defence ahead of next season. Ange Postecoglou might have had a decent first season at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. But he has already made it clear that there will be an overhaul in the summer as he looks to bring in players who fit his system. They are looking to make the 22-year-old one of their new signings.
