According to a report by Football Insider, Bradley Locko is gaining popularity in the market, with several Premier League clubs keen on signing him from Ligue 1 club Stade Brestois 29 in the summer transfer window. Liverpool, Aston Villa, and West Ham United are interested in the 22-year-old full-back.
Who is Bradley Locko?
Bradley Locko is one of the best young full-backs in Ligue 1. A native of Ivry-sur-Seine, he spent his formative years with five French clubs, graduating from the FC Lorient youth division. However, the Frenchman’s stock has risen after joining Stade Brestois 29 from Stade Reims in 2023.
Brest initially signed the youngster on a loan deal until the end of the 2022/23 season before completing a permanent move last summer. The 22-year-old has been a regular for the Ligue 1 club thus far this season, amassing 3,051 minutes across 34 appearances in all competitions while chipping in with three assists. Meanwhile, Locko’s progress has alerted several well-known clubs, including West Ham United, Aston Villa and Liverpool.
A man in demand
Aston Villa will likely delve into the market for a left-back in the summer transfer window as they prepare to potentially play in the UEFA Champions League. Unai Emery wants an upgrade on Alex Moreno and Lucas Digne. So, several candidates, including Ian Maatsen, have emerged on Aston Villa’s radar, with Locko also a viable target.
