Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing 25-year-old Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi in the summer transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are keen on Martin Zubimendi as well, but Barcelona have now held talks with the player’s agent regarding a summer move. However, shelling out €60 million might be beyond the means of the Blaugrana.
Zubimendi is one of the best midfielders in La Liga, and he could prove to be an exceptional addition to the Barcelona squad. The Spanish giants need someone who can run the game from the middle of the part, and the 25-year-old could be the ideal long-term replacement for club legend Sergio Busquets.
