Aston Villa recently approached Juventus to ask for information about 21-year-old Argentine winger Matias Soule, valued at €30 million.
According to a report by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Matias Soule is the subject of interest from Aston Villa. The Villans are scouring the market for an offensive reinforcement heading into the summer transfer window. They have approached Serie A club Juventus to ask for information about the 21-year-old winger, who will cost around €30 million.
Matias Soule and his Frosinone loan
Matias Soule has benefitted from joining Frosinone on loan from Juventus last summer. A native of Mar del Plata, the Argentine attacker spent most of his formative years in his homeland before arriving in Europe in January 2020. Since then, he has come leaps and bounds in Italy.
The 21-year-old rose through the ranks at Juventus before breaking into the first-team squad. However, with regular game time coming at a premium, the Bianconeri loaned him out to fellow Serie A club Frosinone last summer. And Soule has enjoyed a solid campaign with Frosinone, amassing 11 goals and three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
Meanwhile, Soule’s progress has not gone unnoticed, with several well-known clubs across Europe setting their sights on him. The youngster’s next destination might be the Premier League, with Aston Villa among his prospective suitors heading into the summer transfer window.

Aston Villa’s interest in Matias Soule is understandable. While the Villans signed Morgan Rogers in the winter transfer window to bolster their offensive department, they can do with another attacker this summer. Aston Villa will likely part ways with a few underperforming players in the summer transfer window.
