Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United have received a major boost in their pursuit of Crystal Palace playmaker Michael Olise.

According to Fabrizio Romano via Give Me Sport, Crystal Palace will struggle to keep hold of their star winger Michael Olise given the amount of interest in his services. The 22-year-old is on the radar of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United, which will make things complicated for the Eagles.

Olise joined Crystal Palace in the summer of 2021 from Reading. He has gone from strength to strength since joining the Premier League club. The French youth international has been an important part of their first team over the past few seasons.

In the ongoing season, Olise has only featured in 13 league games but has still contributed towards nine goals (six goals & three assists). While he has struggled with injuries in the current campaign, his performances over the years have resulted in a lot of interest.

Fabrizio Romano on Olise’s future

Chelsea wanted to sign him last summer, and they did come very close to acquiring his services. But, in the end, he ended up staying at Crystal Palace by penning down a new deal with a £60 million contract. While his current contract runs until the summer of 2027, the French youth international could still be on the move in the summer according to Romano.

The £60 million release clause in Olise’s contract will be active in the upcoming summer. Moreover, Romano feels the interest from the English giants will make it difficult for the Eagles to keep hold of their star.

Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool to battle for Olise

Chelsea remain interested in Olise’s services. They want to reinforce their attack and prefer signing young players with potential, with the Crystal Palace winger seemingly a perfect fit for them. Arsenal also want more depth on the flanks, and they feel the 22-year-old could be a great addition to their ranks for the long term.

As far as Manchester United are concerned, they have had a lot of problems on the right flank in the recent past. With Mason Greenwood, Jadon Sancho, and Antony’s future uncertain, they are looking for a new right winger, and their new part owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly given the green light to Olise’s transfer.

Meanwhile, Liverpool have also been linked with the French youth international. With Mohamed Salah’s future at the club uncertain, they are preparing for life without him and feel Olise could help them cope with his absences.
