La Liga giants Sevilla have reportedly asked about Barcelona attacking sensation Marc Guiu and Real Madrid midfield prospect Arda Guler.

According to Spanish journalists Alonso Rivero and Samuel Silva, Sevilla will look to raid Real Madrid and Barcelona for their teenage prospects in the summer transfer window. Arda Guler and Marc Guiu have emerged on the Andalusian club’s radar, with Los Nervionenses submitting enquiries for them.

Arda Guler and Marc Guiu: How have they fared this season?

Arda Guler has had to bide his time since joining Real Madrid from Fenerbahce last summer. A promising young midfield prospect during his time at the Turkish club, the 19-year-old has struggled with a few fitness issues, with Carlo Ancelotti easing him into the thick of things at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 19-year-old has not even managed 100 minutes of game time thus far this season, turning out seven times while scoring one goal. So, it is hardly surprising that Guler faces an uncertain future at Real Madrid heading into the summer transfer window. As for Marc Guiu, the young striker primarily represents Barcelona’s under-19 side.

However, the 18-year-old has made his first-team debut this season, making seven appearances while scoring two goals. Guiu’s progress bodes well for Barcelona in the long run. However, with Robert Lewandowski being the first-choice striker, the Spanish under-19 international will unlikely receive regular game time.

Move across La Liga on the horizon?

Sevilla might provide temporary respite to both Arda Guler and Marc Guiu in the summer transfer window. The Andalusian club might part ways with Youssef En-Nesyri after the 2023/24 season ends, meaning they can do with a striker. As for the interest in Guler, the Real Madrid midfielder can get some much-needed game time at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.

The report has claimed that the Andalusian giants have asked about the two teenagers at their fellow La Liga clubs. However, Sevilla might face stiff competition from other La Liga outfits for Guler, with UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca, and Real Sociedad also interested in him.

Arda Guler and Marc Guiu will likely embark on new adventures in the summer transfer window. It will be interesting to see if the Real Madrid midfielder and the Barcelona attacking sensation come together at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in the coming months.
