According to a report by Spanish outlet Defensa Central, Arda Guler is the subject of interest from Real Sociedad. Real Madrid will likely loan out the highly-rated midfielder in the summer transfer window. And La Real will look to prise the 19-year-old away from the Santiago Bernabeu on a temporary deal.
Arda Guler and his 2023/24 frustrations
Arda Guler has endured a frustrating 2023/24 campaign since joining Real Madrid from Fenerbahce in a deal worth around €20 million last summer. Los Blancos had seemingly struck a coup for the teenage sensation, considering he was also a target for several other European bigwigs, including bitter rivals Barcelona.
However, several injuries have threatened to derail his debut season with Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti has chosen to use the 19-year-old as a substitute, with the youngster managing only 98 minutes of game time in seven appearances thus far. However, the Turkish international remains highly rated heading into the summer transfer window.
Widespread reports have claimed that Real Madrid might loan out the teenage prospect to help him get back to his best and secure some much-needed game time.
