Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly look to sign Pablo Torre from Barcelona in a deal worth €30 million in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Spanish outlet E-Noticies, Pablo Torre is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The North London giants have submitted an offer to Barcelona and are ready to secure his services in a deal worth €30 million. Meanwhile, the reigning La Liga champions are willing to cash in on the 21-year-old in the summer transfer window.

Who is Pablo Torre?

Pablo Torre had the two biggest La Liga clubs vying for his signature when he burst onto the scene Racing Santander. The Spaniard was still a teenager when he made his first-team debut for the Cantabrian outfit. His exploits had piqued the attention of Barcelona and Real Madrid before the Blaugrana won the race to sign him.

However, the 21-year-old turned out only 13 times for Barcelona last season before the Catalan outfit loaned him out to Girona. The youngster has not been a regular thus far this term, managing only 698 minutes of game time across 24 appearances in all competitions. Torre has chipped in with one goal and two assists.

So, it is hardly surprising that the Spanish midfielder faces an uncertain future heading into the summer transfer window. The latest update has revealed that Barcelona might be open to cashing in on Torre in the summer transfer window. And Tottenham will look to secure his services.

London on the horizon?

Tottenham’s interest in Pablo Torre is understandable. The North London club will likely part ways with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the summer transfer window, with the Danish international eager to resurrect his stuttering career. That will open up a spot in the midfield department at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Several midfielders, including Hugo Larsson, have thus emerged on Tottenham’s radar, with Torre also being a viable target. And the latest report has claimed that the North London giants are ready to shell out €30 million to land the Barcelona prospect in the summer transfer window.

In addition, the reigning La Liga champions are open to cashing in on the 21-year-old Spanish midfielder as they look to balance their books. So, Torre might soon move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
