Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are firmly planning on chasing Jeremie Frimpong, who has a modest £35 million release clause.

According to Football Insider, Jeremie Frimpong could attract significant interest from Premier League clubs. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are among those chasing the Bundesliga wing-back, who has a modest £35 million release clause in his Bayer Leverkusen contract.

Premier League giants chasing Jeremie Frimpong

Bayer Leverkusen are having a faboulous season, as they are on the brink of sealing the Bundesliga title and are yet to suffer defeat in any competition. Jeremie Frimpong has been one of their standout performers, with the Bundesliga wing-back scoring 11 goals and as many assists in 34 games across all competitions.

Leverkusen hopes to secure him long-term, but Frimpong may have other ideas. The Bundesliga wing-back already has plenty of suitors chasing his signature, particularly from the Premier League, including the Manchester clubs.

Manchester United are keen, as INEOS plans to bring exciting and proven talents to Old Trafford to kickstart a new era at the club. Their only drawback in chasing Frimpong this summer would be their inability to make it to the Champions League next season. They would undoubtedly be one of the top contenders if the Red Devils can achieve a top finish.

When the summer window opens, Frimpong will have a modest £35 million release clause in his contract. At that price, he becomes one of the sought-after names in the market, as some more clubs will enter the picture. Arsenal planned on a January raid, while Liverpool is also keen, making the duo one of the best-placed clubs to sign the Dutchman in the summer.

Liverpool could be an intriguing choice for Frimpong

Arsenal will show an interest, but they are already stacked in the right-back role, although Mikel Arteta would like an attacking player. It’s Liverpool who could make a compelling case for Frimpong to join them, as they may open up space in the first-team squad for a player with the Dutchman’s attacking instincts.

Trent Alexander-Arnold could sign a new deal, and should the new incoming manager choose to play the England international in midfield, Liverpool will need a right-back. Frimpong’s modest release clause and his productivity on the right flank make him an intriguing option for the Merseysiders to consider.
