A four-way battle is brewing in the background for Theo Hernandez, with Manchester United and Chelsea in the mix.

According to Fichajes, Theo Hernandez continues to attract some massive interest in the market, with Manchester United and Chelsea in the thick of the battle. Around four outlets are chasing the French international, with AC Milan keen to renew his deal. Meanwhile, he might cost around €70-80 million this summer.

Manchester United, Chelsea in Theo Hernandez pursuit

AC Milan have not shown desperation to sell some of their biggest stars, despite some of those attracting massive attention in the market. For instance, they could have cashed in on Rafael Leao in a big way. Instead, the Rossoneri fought hard to renew his deal, and they showed similar affection for Theo Hernandez.

The French international is one of the best full-backs in Europe in terms of attacking ability, while he has shown versatility in defence. He can even slot in as a central defender, but his main forte is making himself big in the attacking third, as his stats justify that stature.

In any case, he has a big decision on his hands regarding his future, as AC Milan will surely try to renew his deal. However, there are many clubs on high alert should he fail to commit to his future to the Rossoneri, meaning a swoop in the summer could well be possible.

Manchester United have shown an interest, while Chelsea are also on high alert, as the latter have a particular need for a new high-profile left-back. The Red Devils have also encountered problems in that position, with Luke Shaw showing signs of being injury-prone this term, while Tyrell Malacia has not featured at all.

Hence, the two Premier League giants will make a big push for Hernandez, with theFrench international likely to cost a big sum of around €70-80 million should AC Milan have no choice but to sell.

A four-way battle for Hernandez

Not only are Premier League teams like Chelsea and Manchester United chasing Hernandez but there are other options for the €70-80 million-rated French international should he decide to move on. Bayern Munich are considered a suitor, while there is certain interest from Saudi Arabia.

Should AC Milan open their doors to negotiate, he could well become one of the biggest sales in Serie A history. Furthermore, he might also look at the finances on offer in England, although Milan are also in the mood to make a compelling offer.
