Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham are keen on Canadian international striker Jonathan David.

A report from HITC has claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jonathan David from Ligue 1 club LOSC Lille in the summer transfer window.

The Canadian striker has been impressive form this season, scoring 21 goals. He could prove to be a quality acquisition for Arsenal, who are in need of a reliable goalscorer. The 24-year-old has seven assists across all competitions as well.

Gabriel Jesus has been quite underwhelming this season, and the Brazilian has not been able to score goals consistently. Jonathan David could prove to be an upgrade, and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners can get the deal done.

Chelsea signed Nicolas Jackson to solve their goalscoring problems but the former Villarreal forward has been quite mediocre. Chelsea need a better player to lead the line for them, and David has thus rightly emerged on their radar.

As for Manchester United, Rasmus Hojlund needs more support in the attack. The Denmark international has done quite well in recent weeks. But he is quite young, and Manchester United need a more experienced striker who can share the goal scoring burden with Hojlund. Jonathan David certainly has the quality to step up and lead the line for the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur have missed a reliable striker since the departure of Harry Kane. They chose not to sign a quality striker in the summer, and they have had to rely on Son Heung-min and Richarlison as a result of that. Neither player is a natural goalscorer, and Spurs must look to replace Kane adequately if they want to compete for major trophies in the coming seasons.

Jonathan David is ready for the Premier League

The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be an attractive one for David, and he will certainly fancy his chances of joining all four clubs. It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.

Jonathan David is certainly good enough for English football and he could improve all four clubs. He will relish the opportunity to test himself against the best defenders in the Premier League next season. The striker has been linked with a move to Barcelona recently as well.
