Saudi Pro League sides are ready to test the resolve of Kevin De Bruyne with a mammoth €120 million offer as they are keen to sign the Belgian.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Kevin De Bruyne could find himself at a unique career crossroads as Saudi Pro League sides plan on a mammoth €120 million offer for the Belgian. Manchester City would love to extend his stay beyond 2025, but they might even consider accepting a bid if their requests match.

Kevin De Bruyne to Saudi Arabia?

The rumours of Saudi Pro League sides targeting Kevin De Bruyne have been rife since the end of the summer window last August. Mohamed Salah was the subject of a massive bid from Al-Ittihad around then. Still, the Belgian was not on the market after a severe hamstring injury that had kept him out of the game until January.

However, when the summer window opens, the Manchester City creative force will enter the final year of his deal, which makes him vulnerable towards accepting another challenge. Saudi clubs are already interested, as the four main PIF-owned sides, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, are all well-equipped to snap up some of the best talents financially.

The Saudi Pro League does have its share of high-profile stars like Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. But the league are keen on adding Salah and De Bruyne to the equation. As per the report, some Saudi clubs could make a €120 million offer to tempt the Manchester City creative force, which is the best contract he has ever received in his career.

Will Manchester City allow De Bruyne’s exit?

Manchester City have never stood in a player’s way if they expressed a desire to quit the club. The same may extend for Kevin De Bruyne, although there is talk of a contract extension for the Belgian. However, despite the money some of the Saudi clubs can offer, no Premier League side, including Manchester City, can afford those numbers.

The treble winners will demand significantly to sell De Bruyne, something the Saudi clubs might be willing to pay given their vast resources. Hence, the Belgian will have a crucial decision to make that will see him continue to be one of the best with Manchester City or accept a lucrative offer to prolong his career in the Middle East.
