Manchester United will reportedly look to sign Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Serie A club Napoli in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is the subject of interest from Manchester United. The Red Devils are in the market for an attacker heading into the summer transfer window. And the 23-year-old Napoli winger has emerged as a potential target for the Premier League heavyweights.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and his Exploits in Serie A
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a top-notch performer since joining Napoli from Dinamo Batumi in July 2022. The Georgian international did not take much time to hit the ground running at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. He was one of the catalysts in Napoli’s Serie A title triumph in the 2022/23 season.
That helped him become one of the best attackers in Serie A. But the 23-year-old has been sub-par in the 2023/24 campaign, resonating with Napoli’s struggles thus far this term. But he has stepped up in the last few weeks and has 16 goal contributions in 36 appearances across all competitions, finding the back of the net ten times while providing six assists.
Kvaratskhelia’s progress in the last 18 months at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium has not gone unnoticed, with several high-profile clubs setting their sights on him. Premier League bigwigs, in particular, are keen, with Manchester United now joining the race to sign the Napoli attacker.

Manchester United’s interest in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is somewhat surprising. While the Red Devils need a productive winger, a right-sided option is the need of the hour. With Antony and Jadon Sancho failing to live up to the billing, the duo faces an uncertain future at Manchester United.
While Alejandro Garnacho has done well on the right flank, he is better suited for the left wing. So, it behoves Manchester United to pursue an attacker who thrives on the right-hand side. Nevertheless, Kvaratskhelia is a target for the Premier League heavyweights heading into the summer transfer window.
