Arsenal and Manchester City are ready to battle it out with Tottenham Hotspur for the services of Semih Kilicsoy.

According to Sabah via SportWitness, Arsenal and Manchester City have entered the race for the services of Semih Kilicsoy. The 18-year-old Turkish sensation is a star in the making and both the English clubs are willing to square up against Tottenham Hotspur for his signatures.

Kilicsoy’ rise at Besiktas

Kilicsoy has come up the ranks at Besiktas, he was promoted to their first team ahead of the 2023/24 season. The teenager has already left his mark on their first team. He has featured in 25 matches and has racked up under 1400 minutes. In his limited game time, the Turkish youth international has found the back of the net 10 times and also has an assist to his name.

He is averaging a goal every 111th minute in the league which is some achievement considering the fact that it is his debut season with the first team. His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed. It has resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe and there could be a bidding war for his signatures.

While the 18-year-old penned down a new deal at the start of the year, that deal will not come in the way of potential departure. Despite him having over four years left on his deal, Besiktas are ready to negotiate his departure but they are looking for a massive fee.

Besiktas await a bidding war

They will not let him leave on the cheap, the Turkish club await the arrival of as many clubs as possible as they look to make a significant profit from his sale. Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs that have been linked with him of late.

The North London club are yet to sign a Harry Kane replacement. They are not looking to bring in a world-class striker rather they have plans to sign a young forward with huge potential and Kilicsoy is the ideal fit for the club.

But, Spurs are not alone in the race. They will have to battle it out with Manchester City and Arsenal who have just entered the race. Officials of both clubs were spotted in the stands watching the teenager in action against Galatasaray on Sunday.

While City don’t really need another striker, they are always on the lookout for players who can further improve them. The teenager could help them in the long run, as a result, they are willing to invest in him.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, Arteta is keen on having a new striker in his ranks. While he prefers having a proven powerhouse, Kilicsoy is someone who can eventually become a mainstay at the cub.
