Premier League sides Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are all waiting in the wings to sign Jamal Musiala, who has rejected a new deal at Bayern Munich.

According to Daily Star, Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala has rejected the offer of a new contract at the Allianz Arena, as the 21-year-old is eyeing a move to the Premier League this summer amid interest from Manchester City, Chelsea, and Liverpool. Die Roten will demand £80 million to part ways with him.

The German international is considered to be one of the most promising young talents in European football. Although only 21 years old, Musiala has already become a key figure for Bayern, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 19 Bundesliga appearances this term.

In the previous campaign, the German international totalled 12 goals and ten assists in 33 league games. He has already won ten major honours at the Allianz Arena, including four Bundesliga titles, one Champions League, and a Club World Cup.

Musiala’s current deal is due to expire in 2026, and the Bavarians have been fighting tooth and nail to tie him down to a new deal, but the fact he has rejected a new £150,000-a-week offer has fuelled speculation he could leave the club this summer.

Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea keen on Musiala

Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea are all interested in the Germany international, who has set his sights on a Premier League move this summer.  Manchester City and Liverpool are said to have sent scouts to watch Musiala in action during Bayern Munich’s 3-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on February 10.

Chelsea are also displaying significant interest in their former youth product. But unless they win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League, they have little chance of convincing Musiala to choose Stamford Bridge over other more appealing options.

Whichever team secures the blockbuster signing of Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich will get an absolute future world-class star, who is showing incredible levels of output already. If Bayern fail to convince Musiala to stay put in Bavaria, the German champions would seek at least £80 million to transfer the attacking midfielder, who will be demanding a salary of about £200,000 per week.
