Premier League giants Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur will battle it out for the services of Brazilian midfielder Ederson.

According to a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur all want reinforcement ahead of next season, and Atalanta’s Ederson is a top target for the Premier League giants. The Serie A club want €40 million to sell the midfield enforcer.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been on fire in the ongoing season. His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed, and there could be a bidding war for him in the summer transfer window. While he did struggle to get used to things during his first year, Ederson has been doing wonders in his second season at the club.

He has featured in 30 matches so far and has even contributed towards seven goals. The former Salernitana midfielder will still have two years left on his deal in the summer. Despite that, he could still be on the move given the kind of clubs that are interested in him. English giants Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham are willing to battle it out for the €40 million rated midfielder.

Four English giants square up against each other for Ederson

Tottenham have been interested in Ederson for a while now. But they now have competition from the biggest clubs in England. The North London club lack depth, and they are expected to have multiple signings to bolster their overall squad. And the 24-year-old is one of the names on their list, with Atalanta slapping a price tag of €40 million on him.

As far as Manchester United are concerned, they did make blockbuster signings over the past few summers, but those signings have not really worked. They still need reinforcement, particularly in the centre of the park, and Ederson is a key target.

Meanwhile, Liverpool oversaw a midfield overhaul last summer, and they have been doing wonders in the ongoing season because of their decisions in the market. The Reds feel they need another midfielder to complete the transition, and that is why they are keen on having the Atalanta midfielder.

Arsenal are always on the lookout for players who can bolster their squad, and the Gunners feel he can add a lot of quality to their ranks. As a result, they are ready to rival others to his signatures. While all four English giants are willing to battle it out, the Italian club are in no hurry to make a sale, having cashed in on Rasmus Hojlund in the recent past. But they will demand at least €40 million to sell him.
