According to Fichajes, Arsenal and Barcelona could be boosted in pursuit of Amadou Onana, as Everton could sell the Belgian midfielder. The Toffees face fresh FFP charges from the Premier League, and they might have to deal to balance their books.
Amadou Onana for sale?
Everton have come under a cloud following fresh charges by an independent panel about the Premier League’s Profit & Sustainability rules. The Toffees saw a point deduction earlier in the season and could be in line for another such punishment if found guilty.
They have faced financial problems over the last few years and, in recent times, have resorted to selling some of their best players. This time, they might adopt a similar policy as players like Amadou Onana and Jarrad Branthwaite might depart.
Arsenal are interested in Onana as a midfield option, as Mikel Arteta had considered the 22-year-old Premier League midfielder earlier. There is a massive £60 million price tag quoted in the media, something the Gunners might look to pay up to take the promising midfielder to the Emirates.
