Fulham, Wolves vying for Armando Broja

Wolves have joined the race for Armando Broja along with Fulham, as the Chelsea striker could quit the London club this month.

According to Daily Mail, Wolves and Fulham are vying for Armando Broja this month as the Chelsea forward could quit Stamford Bridge in search of regular football. The 22-year-old prospect has a chance to prove his worth in the absence of Nicolas Jackson but will leave if they add another striker.

Wolves and Fulham are keen on Armando Broja

There is plenty of talk about Chelsea’s search for a new striker in this current window, and that may have a direct effect on Armando Broja’s future. The 22-year-old prospect has recovered from his severe injuries and looks like someone who can play many games at a stretch.

There is speculation that Broja might quit Chelsea if they sign another forward this month, which has seen him get linked with many English sides. The 22-year-old is an academy graduate at the club and one of their high-value assets this month in light of FFP concerns.

Amid links with West Ham, Chelsea have slapped a £30 million price tag on the young forward, something that seems within range of many Premier League sides. Wolves have now joined the race for Broja, with Gary O’Neil likely to entertain the idea of signing a new striker. He will have a competition at Molineux, with Hwang Hee-chan and Matheus Cunha performing well this season.

Fulham are also interested, but there are doubts about whether Broja will choose to join Chelsea’s traditional local rivals. Yet, the idea of remaining in London and the same vicinity might entice the 22-year-old prospect, where he might also have the option of West Ham.

Will Armando Broja leave Chelsea?

Chelsea are planning a new striker signing, and as per media reports, they have already started making moves in the market. Fabrizio Romano recently denied a bid from Chelsea for Viktor Gyokeres. But the Blues do have an interest in the Sporting CP striker.

Broja will surely leave if a new forward were to arrive this month, as it would undermine his current order in the team. The 22-year-old prospect is already playing backup to Nicolas Jackson under Mauricio Pochettino and will not want to stay if he falls further down the pecking order.

With Jackson now playing at the AFCON, Broja does have a chance to impress Pochettino and show he is ready to fight for his place. However, Chelsea will consider a reasonable offer amid FFP concerns, as they are eager to add new players and may not be able to do so without proper sales.
