According to a report by i News, Crystal Palace and Fulham have joined the race to sign Kalvin Phillips. The English international has also been a target for Newcastle United ahead of the January transfer window. But the Tyneside outfit might not launch the offensive to land the Manchester City outcast.

Kalvin Phillips has seen his career come to a stuttering half since joining Manchester City from Leeds United. The Premier League champions had shelled out £45 million to secure his services. But the investment has been a waste, with Phillips failing to win over Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
The 28-year-old barely featured last season and has managed only 319 minutes of game time thus far this term. Phillips has not even earned any action whenever Rodri has been unavailable. So, with the January transfer window opening, the English international is keen on embarking on a new adventure.
