Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez will cost at least £60 million in the summer, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham interested.

According to Football Insider, Feyenoord have no intention of selling Santiago Gimenez in January and will only part ways for £60 million or more in the summer. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are only a few of the clubs keen on the Mexican international.

Santiago Gimenez has put himself at the top of the shortlist of multiple clubs vying for a new striker in January. The Mexican has already notched 20 goals this season in all competitions for Feyenoord and was instrumental in their Eredivisie success last term.

Feyenoord are aware of the growing interest in their 20-goal star and knows about many of those teams scouting the Mexican with regularity. Fulham sent scouts recently to watch Gimenez during their Champions League encounter with Celtic.

Tottenham had also sent scouts back in November for another game, and the list goes on. Fulham had hoped to beat the competition and make a bid for the striker. However, in light of the clubs seeking Gimenez, the 20-goal star would unlikely want to join the Cottagers.

Tottenham’s interest has been there for a while now, with Ange Postecoglou looking at Gimenez as the long-term replacement for the departed Harry Kane. Spurs have a decent stock of attackers, but the Australian boss would like a quality player to compete for the No.9 role.

Similarly, Arsenal are also keen to add another forward to their ranks. They have the likes of Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen on their shortlist but might not bring one in January. Feyenoord, for their part, are not keen to part ways in the next window but would sell Gimenez in the summer.

Around then, clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham must pay £60 million or more to prise the Mexican away from Feyenoord. The Blues are also among those interested, with Mauricio Pochettino urging the club to make key transfers next month, which might include a striker.

Some reports suggested Chelsea were prepared to pay big for Viktor Gyokeres, but they could also try for Gimenez next month. Feyenoord are unlikely to cave in on requests from suitors in January and will likely hold on to their 20-goal star until the summer.
