Manchester United will have to fork out €30 million to acquire the services of 24-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger Donyell Malen.

According to Christian Falk, Manchester United are keen on having Donyell Malen in their ranks. The Red Devils are keen on reinforcing their right wing and they are interested in the services of the 24-year-old Borussia Dortmund forward.

Malen was a part of the Arsenal youth ranks back in the day. But, things didn’t work out for him there and he ended up joining PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2017. In a year, he made it to the PSV first team and then went from strength to strength.

In the summer of 2021, Dortmund acquired his services. Since joining the German club, the 24-year-old winger has featured in a total of 92 matches and has contributed towards 40 goals. While stats are average, Malen is a consistent performer and that is why United are looking at him to reinforce their right flank.

Erik ten Hag is desperate to have a new right winger as soon as possible. Antony has struggled to get going since joining United from Ajax. The 23-year-old winger has zero goal contributions in 15 outings. While the Brazilian is struggling for form, Jadon Sancho has been dropped from the first team following his rift with the manager.

The England international has had a public fallout with his manager and post that, he has been asked to train with the reserve team. The 23-year-old is expected to part ways with the Red Devils in the upcoming transfer window.

Meanwhile, reports have linked Sancho with a move back to his former club Dortmund. And, according to the report, the Red Devils recently entered into a meeting with Dortmund and the topic of discussion where the future of Malen as well as Sancho.

Ten Hag’s team are keen on adding Malen to their ranks. While the German club are ready to entertain an offer for the 24-year-old, they have made it clear a deal will only be possible if they offer €30 million or as ready to offer Sancho in return. The money will help Dortmund sign a replacement and if they manage to bring Sancho back, they will expect him to take charge of the right flank.
