Chelsea could make a move for Rayan Ait-Nouri ahead of the January window, but Wolves could hold on to the left back.
According to 90 Min, Chelsea have added Rayan Ait-Nouri to their list of left-backs ahead of the January window. The Bleus could have another productive window and bring in young stars, and with the Wolves star, they could get an established Premier League performer, but any deal will prove challenging.
Rayan Ait-Nouri must credit Gary O’Neil for reviving him after Julen Lopetegui froze him out last season. The 22-year-old Premier League defender has flourished under the new manager this season and remains a formidable performer for Wolves.
His displays have continued to attract significant interest from top clubs. Wolves will reportedly block an exit for the 22-year-old amid links with Liverpool recently. Yet, they might consider a large offer, as they could use the funds to reinvest in the squad.
Chelsea are the latest to enter the race, with the Blues adding Ait-Nouri to their list of left-backs. The Stamford Bridge outfit does not have a shortage of options in that position, with Ben Chillwell, Marc Cucurella, and Ian Maatsen all being good options.

Valentin Barco remains another target, but there’s widespread interest from Manchester City in the Argentine.
Hence, they might try their hand over Ait-Nouri, but Wolves will likely block any move for the 22-year-old Premier League defender. Chelsea may need to wait until summer to pursue him again. However, they don’t feel a rush to sign another left-back. This is because Chillwell will soon be back and competing with Cucurella.
