Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly look to sign 20-year-old English winger Samuel Iling-Junior from Juventus in the January transfer window.
According to a report by The Independent, Samuel Iling-Junior is the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur. The North London club will enter the January transfer window for multiple reinforcements. While they are keen on signing a centre-back and a midfielder, they might also delve into the market for a wide attacker, with the Juventus winger emerging as a target.
Samuel Iling-Junior is the latest English prospect to make a name for himself outside his homeland. The young winger spent most of his formative years with Chelsea before joining Juventus in September 2020. Since then, he has come leaps and bounds, establishing himself as one of the best young attackers in Europe.
The 20-year-old made his first-team debut last season and steadily grew in stature throughout the campaign. Iling-Junior is yet to establish himself as a regular starter for Juventus but has been impressive in his four outings thus far. Meanwhile, the youngster’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of Tottenham Hotspur.
Several well-known Premier League clubs were keen on securing Iling-Junior’s services in the summer transfer window, but a move did not materialise. However, interest remains in the English winger, with Everton among his prospective suitors. In addition, he is a target for Tottenham Hotspur.
