According to a report by Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Marcos Leonardo is the subject of interest from Real Madrid. The Merengues have approached his entourage to gather information about him. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Santos attacking sensation is also a target for Newcastle United.
Marcos Leonardo is one of the best young prospects in his homeland. The Brazilian striker spent most of his formative years with Santos before breaking into the first-team squad in July 2020. Since then, he has come leaps and bounds, becoming a pivotal figure for Peixe.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed an excellent 2023 campaign with Santos, amassing 21 goals and four assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
