Newcastle United are reportedly willing to offer €60 million to sign Federico Chiesa if Juventus make the 26-year-old available for sale.

According to Tutto Juve, Newcastle United could test Juventus’ resolve on Federico Chiesa as they are willing to offer €60 million. The 26-year-old winger’s long-term future in Turin hangs on uncertain terms, as he could move if the Italian fails to renew his deal with the Serie A giants.

Federico Chiesa remains one of the most formidable talents in the continent and a significant player for Juventus. Reports suggest the Bianconeri could cash in on the 26-year-old winger if they receive a handsome offer in exchange.

Chiesa’s current deal expires in 2025, putting pressure back on Juventus to decide on his future. Reports insisted the winger could extend his contract at the club, but nothing on that front has materialised.

Juventus are not in the best of positions to splash money on new acquisitions. Massimiliano Allegri may have wanted new signings that would elevate the squad’s quality but could not make ends meet. The idea of receiving a large sum from the sale of Chiesa will have the Serie A giants thinking.

If he decides to stay, the chances of Chiesa leaving immediately appear slim. Hence, if a big side comes in with an offer, the Bianconeri might give it a second thought. Newcastle United remain interested in the 26-year-old, and now the story suggests they could launch a €60 million bid for the winger.

Juventus will see those figures and possibly start thinking about the long-term implications of not accepting or negotiating such an offer. Arsenal are also one of the sides keen, with Mikel Arteta still looking for a quality wide attacker.

Similarly, Chelsea has also maintained an interest in Chiesa, but he may fall slightly off their recently adapted transfer policy of signing players under 25. Hence, the 26-year-old star may not appear like an option for the Blues, thus leaving the door open for other suitors.

Newcastle United are keen on Chiesa or a new wide attacker with versatile qualities. Chiesa fits that equation and might consider following compatriot Sandro Tonali to Tyneside. There’s no clarity on whether this €60 million offer will arrive in January, but it looks almost certain to happen around the summer window.
