Real Madrid star midfielder Toni Kroos is yet to make a decision regarding his future amidst interest from Manchester City.

According to a report by CaughtOffside, Toni Kross is linked with a move to Manchester City and he is expected to make a decision regarding his future soon. The 33-year-old midfielder is on the radar of Pep Guardiola’s team but according to Fabrizio Romano, he will most likely make a decision in the second half of the season or around the new year.

Kroos joined Los Blancos back in the summer of 2014 from Bayern Munich. He has gone from strength to strength since joining the Spanish giants. The 33-year-old has won every major trophy and was also a part of the team that won the Champions League three times in a row.

Meanwhile, the former German international’s future has become a talking point of late. He has been linked with Manchester City because his current deal with Real Madrid expires next summer.

While he is still an important part of the team in white, the World Cup winner is no longer an undisputed starter because of the amount of quality young players Madrid have. As a result, he is expected to make a decision regarding his future soon.

With his contract running down in less than a year, City are interested in having him in their ranks. Pep Guardiola’s team might be one of the most dominant teams around but the Spanish manager is always on the lookout for exceptional players as he seeks perfection. As a result, it won’t be a surprise if his club go on and sign Kroos to reunite him with Guardiola who coached the German midfielder during his time at Bayer Munich.

However, according to Romano, Kroos hasn’t yet decided his future. But, he might soon make a decision regarding it. The transfer expert believes the 33-year-old might decide his future in the second half of the season. At the earliest, he could reveal his plans around the end of the year.

The Madrid midfielder could either look to extend his contract with the team in white for another season, retire or try one last experience at Manchester City. At this point in time, all three situations are very much possible according to the report.
