According to iNews, Matthew Young has emerged as a target for Manchester City and Manchester United. The two giants are regularly tracking the Sunderland star’s progress. Scouts from both clubs have watched the 16-year-old English goalkeeping sensation with a view to signing him.
Sunderland continue to produce massive talents as they stick with their policy of developing players good enough for top teams. One of their speciality is the goalkeeping positions, with the team producing stars like Jordan Pickford in the past.
There has been rapid interest in at least three of their promising goalkeepers, with Chelsea already signing one of them. The Blues have beaten Manchester City for Toby Bell, but the Cityzens have not given up in their quest to bring a young keeper to their youth squad.
They are reportedly interested in Matthew Young, with the 16-year-old English goalkeeping sensation rising in reputation. Manchester City also have observers watching him constantly, and so far, the reports have seemed optimistic.
