Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Real Madrid on loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window and wants a permanent move in 2024.

Kepa Arrizabalaga was signed as an emergency cover for Thibaut Courtois, who picked up a serious knee injury. A report from Defensa Central claims that Chelsea are prepared to sell him permanently for a fee of around €20-25 million, and the player is keen on joining Real Madrid permanently next summer.

It will be interesting to see if the Spanish goalkeeper can impress Real Madrid with his performances this season. Recent reports have claimed that the 28-year-old is ready to lower his wages to complete a permanent move to Real Madrid.

Los Blancos could definitely use more quality and depth in the goalkeeping department, and Kepa would be a useful option at that price. The Spaniard is at the peak of his powers, and he will look to push the Belgian international for a starting spot.

He was regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in La Liga during his time at Athletic Club. But he has not been able to live up to the expectations since his big-money move to Stamford Bridge. He will look to get back to his best once again. And the opportunity to play for Real Madrid is an attractive proposition for any player.

Selling him for €20-25 million would represent a massive loss for Chelsea. But they will need to cut their losses on him sooner rather than later. The Blues are unlikely to be able to recover the money they paid for him. It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid are ready to pay up for the 28-year-old next summer.

The goalkeeper is keen on the transfer, and he turned down a move to Bayern Munich in order to join the Spanish club. Convincing him to join the club will not be a problem. So, Real Madrid should be able to agree on personal terms with the player easily. It remains to be seen whether they are ready to shell out the €20-25 million asking price now or if they want him permanently at all.

A club with Real Madrid’s resources should be able to afford the asking price with ease. So, Chelsea will hope to get the deal done during the summer transfer window. The 28-year-old goalkeeper does not have a future at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea have already signed Robert Sanchez as his replacement.

Real madrid would welcome him to the bernabeu. We need someone to hold fort for courtois while he’s out injured
