Manchester United have been linked with a move for Italian international midfielder Marco Verratti, valued at €60 million by PSG.

Marco Verratti is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer, and he has been linked with clubs like Al Hilal and Al Ahli. A report from 90min claims that the Italian international has been offered to clubs like Manchester United and Bayern Munich as well. Meanwhile, PSG want €60 million to part ways with him.

Manchester United could definitely use more quality in the middle of the park, and Verratti would be a superb acquisition. The Italian international has proven himself for club and country over the years, and he would certainly improve the Red Devils.

Manchester United have looked quite disappointing in recent outings. So they need to bring in quality players if they want to challenge for the league title. The Red Devils have signed Mason Mount to add creativity in the middle of the park.

But they need to bring in someone who can control the tempo of the game and help them dominate proceedings in the middle of the park. Recent reports have heavily linked them with Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.

Amrabat is more defensive in nature compared to Verratti and the Red Devils should ideally look to sign both players. They need to replace Fred and Scott McTominay this summer and the likes of Verratti and Amrabat would be major upgrades.

Meanwhile, Verratti could be the ideal partner for Casemiro, and he will help Manchester United control games better and dominate the opposition. The Italian international is at the peak of his powers, and he could make an immediate impact in the Premier League. It will be interesting to see if Manchester United take up the option to sign the player in the coming weeks.

Bayern Munich could use a quality central midfielder as well. Apparently, Paris Saint-Germain value the player at €60 million, and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils are prepared to pay that kind of money for him. Meanwhile, the Italian international has also been linked with Liverpool. And it will be interesting to see where he lands this summer.
