Barcelona will reportedly have the opportunity to sign versatile 29-year-old Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca from Al-Nassr this summer.

According to a report by Spanish outlet SPORT, Anderson Talisca might leave Al-Nassr in the ongoing transfer window. And Barcelona will have the chance to sign the versatile 29-year-old attacker. Meanwhile, signing him might be a worthwhile option, considering Bernardo Silva will unlikely arrive at the club this summer.

Anderson Talisca has had an intriguing journey thus far in his professional career. The Brazilian international spent his formative years in his homeland by joining Benfica. And after rising to prominence at the Brazilian club, several high-profile clubs chased his signature in 2015 and 2016.

But Talisca has surprised everyone with his destinations since then, representing Besiktas, Guangzhou FC, and Al-Nassr. But despite being away from the limelight, the versatile 29-year-old attacker remains highly rated. And he has started the season strongly, chipping in with one goal and two assists in six appearances thus far.

But Talisca’s future at Al-Nassr is uncertain, with the Saudi Pro League club ready to part ways with him in the ongoing transfer window. And the player might soon return to Europe, with Barcelona receiving the offer to secure his services this summer.

The Catalan giants have been in the market for a versatile attacker in the ongoing transfer window. And Bernardo Silva is Barcelona’s top target this summer, as he was in the last two years. But signing the Portuguese international will be a tall order, with Manchester City uninterested in selling him.

So Silva might be a pipe dream for Barcelona, who must identify alternatives to the 29-year-old. And the reigning La Liga champions have a viable alternative in Anderson Talisca, who is at a similar stage in his career as Silva. And like the Manchester City playmaker, the Brazilian international can reprise roles centrally and on the flanks.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr might soon sign a player from Barcelona, with Clement Lenglet closing in on joining the Saudi Pro League club. And it will be interesting to see if the Catalan giants land a player from Al-Nassr amid links with the versatile 29-year-old Brazilian attacker Anderson Talisca.
