Moussa Sissoko, the agent of French international Randal Kolo Muani, has contacted Real Madrid over a possible move this summer.
According to a report by German outlet Sport1, Randal Kolo Muani might become an option to bolster the Real Madrid attack this summer. Moussa Sissoko, the player’s agent, has contacted Los Blancos. And the French international and his entourage are exploring the option of joining Real Madrid in the ongoing transfer window.
Randal Kolo Muani passed through the academies at four French clubs in his formative years before graduating from the youth division at FC Nantes. And he rose to prominence at the Ligue 1 outfit, albeit without being prolific in the final third. So no one could have envisioned the output he produced after joining Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.
The 24-year-old hit the ground running and contributed to 40 goals in 46 appearances for Eintracht Frankfurt last season. He found the back of the net 23 times while chipping in with 17 assists. Meanwhile, Kolo Muani also represented France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. And his progress has captured the attention of several clubs, including Real Madrid,
The Merengues have been closely monitoring the French international for much of 2023. But they have not launched the offensive to secure Kolo Muani’s services in the ongoing transfer window. Instead, Joselu is the only striker to bolster the Real Madrid attack despite the departures of Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz.
Endrick and Kylian Mbappe are Real Madrid’s long-term options to lead the line. But Endrick will only arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu in 2024, while Real Madrid will prefer to sign Mbappe next summer. So Kolo Muani’s entourage has sensed an opportunity. And his agent, Moussa Sissoko, has contacted Los Blancos to explore a summer deal.
The player has previously offered himself to Real Madrid. And the latest update suggests he is keen on joining Los Blancos in the ongoing transfer window. But it is unclear if the Merengues are ready to respond favourably to Sissoko’s contact.
