Chelsea have triggered the £20 million release clause in Tyler Adams’s contract at Leeds United, with the USMNT international now set to join the London side.

The 24-year-old had a £20 million release clause following Leeds United’s relegation from the Premier League. Chelsea were planning on triggering the clause to bring Adams to Stamford Bridge. Adams remains injured in the current phase, but the hamstring problem will not keep him out for long.
