Intermediaries have reportedly offered PSG the opportunity to sign 20-year-old Spanish international Ansu Fati from Barcelona this summer.

According to reputed French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Ansu Fati might not have many days left as a Barcelona player. Intermediaries have offered the 20-year-old to Paris Saint-Germain. But the young attacker does not want to leave Barcelona in the ongoing transfer window.

Ansu Fati and Barcelona would not have foreseen the fall from grace he has endured in the last few years. The Spanish international seemed destined to be Lionel Messi’s heir at Camp Nou after an impressive debut season. He also became Barcelona’s second-youngest debutant ever when he made his first-team bow.

The 20-year-old has a decent tally of 29 goals and ten assists in 109 appearances thus far for Barcelona. But he is no longer an undisputed first-choice attacker for the Blaugrana, with his recent fitness issues stunting his progress considerably. So it is hardly surprising that widespread reports have pointed to Barcelona considering cashing in on him.

Several high-profile clubs have shown interest in the struggling attacker. And recent reports have linked Fati with Premier League bigwigs like Arsenal and Manchester United. Some outlets have also suggested a move to Saudi Arabia for the youngster. But Paris Saint-Germain might also be a destination for him.

Reports this week have suggested that PSG will launch the offensive to land Fati after signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona. But Fabrice Hawkins has claimed that the Ligue 1 champions are not considering signing the 20-year-old. Nonetheless, intermediaries have offered the player to PSG.

The French journalist has suggested that Les Parisiens are concentrating on securing the services of Bradley Barcola and another attacker. And judging by Fabrice Hawkins’s claims, Fati might only come into the equation if they fail to sign the two players. But PSG might not land the Barcelona homegrown star this summer.
