Bayern Munich have scheduled a fresh round of talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy as they continue to push to sign Harry Kane.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich had planned a fresh round of talks with Tottenham for Harry Kane. The Bavarian chiefs will meet Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to push ahead with the striker’s chase.

Bayern Munich are not giving up on Harry Kane’s pursuit and will continue to push with another attempt to sign the striker. After a period of quietness with the saga, the Bundesliga champions are ready to spring to life again, as they have planned fresh talks with Tottenham Hotspur.

Daniel Levy has already rejected two bids from Bayern, with the latest an £80 million offer. Kane has already indicated he will not sign a new contract, with pressure mounting on Levy to sell their star striker. His 32 goals last season give the Spurs chief a dilemma on whether to cash in or let him see out his contract.

Reports indicate Levy wants at least £100 million, and Bayern, with their planned talks, are set to improve their last offer. As per Fabrizio Romano, the said meeting has been postponed to possibly next week. But it is still a positive outlook for the Bundesliga champions in this chase.

Manchester United are still keen on the striker and could re-enter the chase if they fail to pursue Rasmus Hojlund. The chances of Levy negotiating with the Red Devils are low, although their presence could give Bayern an advantage.

Kane is reportedly open to joining Bayern in this window, who, in turn, are desperate to seal the deal now. Next year, the 30-year-old will have many options, including joining one of the Premier League giants. The Bavarians must make their next offer convincingly or risk dragging this saga for longer.

They have already readied a long-term deal for Kane, with a four-year contract mooted about with the possibility of a fifth season. Whether they succeed in these said talks remains the question, but around this pursuit, there’s plenty of optimism from Bayern’s side.

Kane had eyes on Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record, which he could relinquish with a move to Bayern. He may not care so much for it, considering the next objective in his career will circle winning trophies, something he has not managed while at Tottenham.
