Tottenham have reportedly added Arthur Cabral to their list of potential Harry Kane replacements ahead of a testing period for Daniel Levy.

According to Daily Mail, Arthur Cabral has become the latest striker with links to Tottenham as they might start seeking a replacement for Harry Kane. Ange Postecoglou wants clarity as their talismanic striker will not sign a new deal.

After making firm decisions in this transfer window, Tottenham are set to enter their annual period of uncertainty with Harry Kane. It has been the case for many years now when their star striker has repeated links with a move away.

This time, however, things are different as Kane enters the final year of his deal. There might be another scenario like two years ago when he went on strike amid Manchester City’s interest. Bayern Munich have taken the Cityzens’ spot as they continue to push for a move.

Daniel Levy had made his stance clear that Kane would not leave and rejected two bids from Bayern. The Bundesliga side have since held fresh talks and believes the striker wants a move to Germany. Next year, the 29-year-old will have many more options as he enters the Free Agency pool.

Meanwhile, Kane has decided to refrain from signing a new deal at Tottenham, which leaves Levy no choice but to entertain offers. He has set a £100 million price tag on the 29-year-old, which Bayern may look to negotiate. Spurs have now entered the market for a replacement, with many options already on their list.

Arthur Cabral becomes the latest to enter this famed shortlist, with Tottenham looking for a player who can score many goals. Flamengo’s Pedro jas also reportedly emerged as an option, while reports linked them to Brentford’s now-banned striker Ivan Toney.

Randal Kolo Muani is also an option, but his huge price tag may see Tottenham pull out. Back to Cabral, the 25-year-old Brazilian striker had a wonderful season with Fiorentina, helping them to the UEFA Europa Conference League Final.

The 25-year-old Brazilian striker scored 14 goals last season in all competitions, including six in the Conference League. He could become a good option for Tottenham. But considering he has a contract until 2026, Fiorentina will demand significantly.

Spurs will now focus on more attempts to keep Kane; if they fail any further, a replacement becomes necessary. Cabral or someone else will have to come and ideally bridge the void left by the 29-year-old, who looks increasingly likely to join Bayern Munich in this window.
