Tottenham are considering moving for Dusan Vlahovic if they lose Harry Kane, with Juventus demanding a reported €70 million for the Serbian.

According to Valentin Feuillette from Footmercato, Tottenham could ponder making a move for Dusan Vlahovic if Harry Kane departs. The 14-goal Chelsea target could come in for high demand in the striker’s market, with several other top clubs keen on the €70 million-rated Juventus attacker.

If things go Bayern Munich’s way, the striker’s market could have plenty of twists. The Bundesliga champions continue to chase England captain and Tottenham talisman Harry Kane but are short of his asking price.

Tottenham reportedly values him at £120 million, nearly double Bayern’s second offer of around £68.5 million. Yet, the Bavarians refuse to give up on the chase, while they are confident the 29-year-old would like a switch to Germany.

While Tottenham has reportedly offered Kane a new deal worth £400,000 a week, they are nowhere close to finding an agreement with the striker. Hence, they plan for life after the England captain but remain confident about his stay beyond the forthcoming season.

In the case of Kane’s departure, Tottenham have identified Dusan Vlahovic as the appropriate replacement. A once-key target for their arch-rivals Arsenal, Spurs will have a lot of work in this particular chase. It’s difficult to convince the Serbian to leave the club of his dreams, Juventus.

With the turmoil that unfolded at the Turin side, they are open to offloading some of their key stars, including the 14-goal Chelsea target. Vlahovic has many clubs interested in signing him, as he has not settled well under Massimiliano Allegri.

They are happy to accept a reasonable offer. But so far, no club have shown a willingness to match their €80 million valuations. There’s confidence in the market to sign him for less, which could boost the chances of clubs like Tottenham. The journalist insists the Bianconeri could accept bids worth €70 million.

Tottenham view Vlahovic as the ideal replacement for Kane. They could make a concerted effort to bring him. Apart from a big contract, Spurs cannot offer him European football next season, which could allow the likes of PSG or even Bayern to steal a march on the Serbian.

Chelsea have shown serious interest in signing Vlahovic as they search for a new striker. Yet, if Kane leaves, Spurs could have a big say in the proceedings. And the project under Ange Postecoglu could entice the Serbian into choosing the north London side.
