Barcelona will compete with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool in the race to sign 16-year-old attacking sensation Kebir Ali Canpolat.

According to Sky Germany, as relayed by SPORT, Kebir Ali Canpolat is the subject of interest from Barcelona. The Catalan giants are one of several clubs keen on signing the 16-year-old attacking sensation. And he is also a target for Premier League outfits like Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool.

Kebir Ali Canpolat has spent all his formative years thus far in Germany. A native of Euskirchen, he started his youth career at TuS Staffel in 2009 before joining Eintracht Frankfurt in July 2017. The Turkish under-17 international spent half a dozen years with Die Adler before leaving as a free agent this summer.

The 16-year-old turned out 17 times for Eintracht Frankfurt under-17, amassing 12 goals and eight assists. Meanwhile, the teenage attacking sensation started his international youth career with Germany before choosing to represent Turkey. As for Ali’s future at the club level, Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are among his prospective suitors.

The Catalan giants are renowned for constantly foraying into the market for youth prospects. Such an outlook has helped Barcelona create a formidable academy. Meanwhile, Vitor Roque is on the verge of joining Barcelona on a long-term contract. And Kebir Ali Canpolat has now emerged as a target for the Blaugrana.

As for Arsenal, the Gunners are on a youth-driven project, with Mikel Arteta overseeing a revolution of the first team. And Ali can be a long-term wide-attacking solution for Arsenal. On the other hand, at Chelsea, the Todd Boehly regime has overseen the addition of several young prodigies.

Diego Moreira is the latest wonderkid to join Chelsea. And the Blues have now set their sights on Kebir Ali. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s rich history of signing youngsters brimming with potential is also well known. And with Mohamed Salah on the wrong side of 30, the Turkish under-17 international can be his long-term successor.

Apart from Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, several other clubs are keen on signing him. Ajax, Inter Milan, and Juventus are also showing interest in the 16-year-old attacking sensation. And it will be interesting to see where he plies his trade in the 2023/24 season.
